Peruanitos Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides social support to low income and orphan Peruvian children, has chosen the face of its 2011 campaign: Monica Cabrejos, who will soon travel to Los Angeles to take part in the foundation;s promotional spot and photo session.
Both media products are to be featured throughout the year in different US media outlets, according to the organization;s President, Jimmy Perez-Johnson. Peruanitos has been raising funds through events and activities for four years. These funds have been allocated to the construction of schools and orphanages; as well as clothes and food donation to populations in need.
“We are committed to continue supporting Peruvian children. The economic crisis that affected the economic growth in the United States is improving and we have many pending projects to execute in Lima and other regions of Peru. Monica will be a key player; one that will motivate Hispanic audiences to continue with their donations,” Perez-Johnson said.
The popular TV personality will travel next December 29th and will stay until January 5th, which means she;ll spend the New Year in the United States. “I;m very flattered for having being selected to represent Peruanitos Foundation and I;m very excited because I;ll start the year with a trip abroad, which also represents a big step for my career,” Cabrejos said.
