The Congress of the Republic of Peru on Nov. 23, 2006, passed a Motion of Greeting for Peruanitos Foundation that recognized the organizations work on behalf of abused and abandoned children in Peru. Congressman Raul Castro Stagnaro introduced the motion and warmly greeted foundation representatives.
It is a particular pleasure to welcome the Peruanitos Foundation members, especially its President Jimmy Perez Johnson, whose work has been exemplary and worthy of praise, the congressman said in presenting a copy of the motion.
In turn, Mr. Perez Johnson reiterated his commitment to those who have the least and underscored the work already accomplished. The foundation was created less than a year ago, and we have already remodeled four National Police preventive centers for minors. We continue to donate food, items of clothing and footwear in Lima, and we intend to support the provinces, to reach the more remote places, he said.
