After a series of works within the country, June Peruanitos Foundation awarded a major grant to the Municipality of San Miguel, located in a district of the Lima coast. The delivery consisted of books and children’s stories, tables and chairs that served to implement a reading room for children, as well as a complete set of early stimulation for the little ones.
The surprise of children to enter both environments was truly singular. Motivated by the colorfully decorated, as well as the diversity of elements that caught his attention, they did not stop laughing and move into new environments dedicated to promoting reading, creativity and emotional and physical development of children.
The mayor of San Miguel, Salvador Heresi, and the executive director of the Foundation, Pier Estremadoyro, unveiled the plaque symbolizing the delivery of the donation, after which we proceeded to the blessing by Pastor Christian Community Agua Viva Eduardo Concha, in the presence of the representative of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, Maria Luisa Aliaga and Mr. Saul Garcia, volunteer staff of the Foundation as well as neighbors and children invited to the event.
