Again, this year Peruanitos Foundation was invited to participate in the celebration acts made in the Capital House and with the Organization of American States (O.A.S.). In this occasion commemorating another anniversary of the Independence of Peru.
In this opportunity the organization nongovernmental Peruvian American National Council, summoned to select a group of Peruvians to the reception to celebrate the 188th patriotic anniversary in Washington D.C. to which Federal authorities and high Civil American and Peruvian personalities attended, like the congressman Hildebrando Tapia Samaniego.
On the same day, well-respected Peruvian members paid a tribute to the Peruvian soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan in the presences of their relatives and to those buried in the National Cemetery of Arlington in Virginia. Later that day, the PANC invited their guests to have lunch with the Senate. At the end of the reception, the Senate expressed their appreciation to American Peruvian professionals for their contributions to the United States.
That same day this illustrious group of Peruvian paid tribute to Peruvian soldiers killed in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in the presence of their relatives, in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. PANC subsequently entertained his guests with a luncheon in the Senate, where express recognition was granted to American Peruvian professionals for their contributions to the United States.
