In a fact which fills Latin community with pride, a group of resident Peruvians in the United States was honored in the White House to the strains of the National Anthem, on the occasion of the 187th anniversary of the Independence of our country.
The promoter of this meeting was the president of the Peruvian American National Council, Kilder Fuentes, who extended an invitation to the President of Peruanitos Foundation on merit of its intense trajectory all through the last three years on behalf of the neediest children.
The program included the hoist of the national flag at Freedom Square, for the first time, in the terrace of the City Council of Washington.
