Thanks to the sponsorship of the Petit Ermitage Hotel, Paradigm Pictures, and the L.A Center for Cosmetic Surgery:
Honoring Oscar-Nominated Peruvian Film Delegation
The first Hollywood event attended by Peruvians and Latinos alike took place at the exclusive Petit Ermitage Hotel of Los Angeles. The event, organized by Paradigm Pictures with the sponsorship of the L.A. Center for Cosmetic Surgery, was also attended by Peruvian director Claudia Llosa and actress Magaly Solier from La Teta Asustada (The Milk of Sorrow.)
The reception was in honor of the abovementioned Cuzco-native actress and the director of the first-ever Peruvian film nominated to the Oscars. Held in a private setting, the party was attended by only 100 guests between producers, film directors and other film industry talents; such as Hollywood legends Edward James Olmos, Michael Madsen, and Demian Bichir.
Llosa and Solier thanked the sponsors of the event, the Petit Ermitage Hotel and the L.A. Center for Cosmetic Surgery, and acknowledged the 5th anniversary of Paradigm Pictures. They also spoke to the guests and expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and the excitement they felt after the film’s positive feedback during this magical evening.
Peruanitos Foundation President and CEO, Jimmy Perez Johnson, also expressed his approval of the success of the event, and highlighted the importance of promoting the achievements of Peruvians.
“Peru has a lot to show to the world and here we see two very talented young women that represent a winner generation, a pair of role models for our children,” Perez-Johnson said.
