Everything is possible when the will and faith. These important elements joined the effort made by the Foundation Peruanitos to achieve the goal of reshaping the PRONOEI “La Casita del Saber” located in the “Q” of Huaycán in Ate Vitarte.
Currently this center, home to forty children, is in deplorable condition. For example, the roof is covered with plastic bags in order to protect small inclement weather.
The area itself provides housing insecurity having no noble material. The houses are made of wood and mats and have been enabled on earth and sand. As is common to see in places of poverty or extreme poverty, they not have toilets, which creates risks of infections in children and adults.
That’s why Peruanitos Foundation has decided to allocate a significant rebuild this PRONEI, fully renovate their classrooms and paint facade and classrooms amount. To this the construction of a playground and green areas for the creation of an organic garden will add.
