On the occasion of our countrys Independence Day, last Friday July 27, the president of Peruanitos Foundation Jimmy Perez Johnson, was invited to participate in an interview in UNIVISION in order to inform about the work being made to the benefit of boys and girls in Peru who are in a vulnerable situation.
The program Despierta America, hosted by our compatriot Amelia Machiavello, was set in Del Valle Square which was especially decorated for the occasion. There was also a young couple of marinera champions and typical dishes from a well known restaurant.
There was a very emotive moment in the interview when one of our volunteers shared his testimony of love talking about the experience of taking in a child in his home and integrating him as one more of his children, without any kind of distinction.
Finally, the Consul of Peru in the United States, Dr Alberto Massa Murazzi gave a sincere message promoting the unity among the Peruvians living far from our beloved country.
